Slow porch-light reflections about humanity, healing, softness, grief, humor, and the sacredness of ordinary moments.
Pull up a chair. Stay awhile.
Porch Reflections
I Did Not Build This Space to Go Viral
I did not build this space to go viral.
I built it because I needed somewhere honest to exist.
Somewhere soft. Somewhere human.
Somewhere that did not ask me to perform healing, but simply allowed me to keep becoming.
And somehow… people began finding it.
Tonight I looked at the little map of visitors and saw places I have never been.
Türkiye. Kenya. India. Ireland.
Small glowing reminders that words can travel farther than fear ever told us they could.
Sometimes I think the internet can feel loud and lonely at the same time.
There is something deeply human about realizing a quiet little corner of the world reached another quiet little corner of the world.
Maybe quiet places do not fill all at once.
Maybe they fill slowly—
one porch light at a time.
Someone paused.
Someone read.
Someone stayed for a moment.
And maybe that is enough.
