Making Room for What Matters

Do you believe in minimalism?

Do I believe in minimalism?

Yes and no.

I don’t think life is about owning as little as possible. Some of my most treasured possessions are old photographs, handwritten notes, books, feathers I’ve found on walks, and little reminders of people I have loved.

But I do believe in being intentional.

The older I get, the less interested I am in collecting things that don’t add meaning to my life. I’d rather have a few items that tell a story than a house full of things I never notice.

To me, minimalism isn’t about having less.

It’s about making room for what matters most.
