Do you believe in soulmates? Why or why not?

Do I believe in soulmates?
Not in the sense that there is only one perfect person waiting somewhere in the world for each of us.
But I do believe some people change the course of our lives.
I believe there are people whose presence feels strangely familiar. People who arrive carrying lessons, healing, challenges, or love that we didn’t know we needed.
Some stay for a season.
Some stay for a lifetime.
And sometimes the people who become most important to us are not the ones we expected.
I think a soulmate is less about perfection and more about recognition.
It’s the feeling of being truly seen.
The feeling of coming home to a person.
And if that exists, then yes, I believe in soulmates.
